## The picture

A 20-year USAF crew chief who is also a guitarist (1M+ Google+ as both) does not have "influences." He has a stack.

## Warfield

Benjamin Breckinridge Warfield (1851-11-05 – 1921-02-16). Princeton Theological Seminary 1887–1921. Old Princeton. Inspiration and inerrancy. Christianity meets legitimate demands of reason. Inspiration and Authority of the Bible. Record: more room for theistic evolution than later heirs like. Not a mascot.

## Van Til

Cornelius Van Til (1895-05-03 – 1987-04-17). Princeton Th.M. 1925, Ph.D. 1927. Westminster 43 years. Defense of the Faith. No brute facts. No neutrality. Transcendental argument.

He wrote that he tried to use elements of both Kuyper and Warfield. Bahnsen: if you can explain agreement AND disagreement with both, you understand the method. This page: friends, not internet enemies.

## Berkhof

Louis Berkhof (1873-10-13 – 1957-05-18). Emmen → Grand Rapids 1882. Calvin Seminary. Princeton B.D. 1902–1904 under Warfield and Vos. Calvin faculty 1906–1944, president 1931–1944.
